We recently had the opportunity to make this very nice roughout saddle for a good cowboy, who is ridding for a grazing association in western Colorado. This saddle is designed for all day use and this cowboy will put it to the test.

Jerry had his choice ..and chose a Will James tree for his saddle. Jerry is a big guy so this saddle was built on a 17" tree, notice the historic ranch brand that was tooled into the fender, it was an honor to build this saddle given to a cowboy who had spent  so much time" horse back "working for a good cow outfit.....

This particular flower that was used in the tooling design on this saddle was chosen for its origination in the country of Peru this saddle will be ridden on a majestic PERUVIAN PASOVINO STALLION hence the name of the flower is THE MARVEL OF PERU. This saddle will compliment both the horse and rider.

Sometimes we get the opportunity to build something a little bit out of the ordinary and this past February was our chance. My good friend Terry Evans who lives in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in California asked me to build him two wonderful Briefcases.

One for his personal use and one for a fundraiser for his camp in the famous group "The Rancheros Vistatores" .The Rancheros Vistadores ride is one of the most famous and prestigious rides in the United States and dates to the early 1900s We hope you can see the beauty and the varied array of flowers used in the tooling design.
